I just bought an 02 GT with LTs and an o/r h with MILs. When i bought it the cel wasnt on but after 3 days it came on with the code being the o2s. I know a guy that has his own shop and told me that he would pass it as long as the cel wasnt on. If i get a tuner and turn off the o2s will he still be able to pass it? I live in missouri and they hook it up to their computer so im not sure if it wil be out of his hands to pass me.

Any input would be great

A computer huh? Do you live in STL or something. In my neck of the woods it is a visual inspection only.

The rear 02's will come up as "Not Ready" on the computer. In most states that is an automatic fail.

+1. You will need a "custom" tune to handle this one.

Inspection is computerless, the emissions is what you are worried about.

Ya i live in the st.louis area, o'fallon to be exact. So even if i know the guy there is nothing he can do. The car has mils. I might try to take the mils off of my 96 Gt and see if that helps because they work on that car
