I'm not about to do a bad thing, am I?

We'll see what happens. The only way I'll do it is if my payments stay the same ('cause insurance will definitely increase), and you know how that goes; you tell them $XXX and they come back wanting like $100 more.

I've looked around a little for Termi's and Mach's, Termi's cost more than I want to spend (good ones still go for $25K+ around here). And regardless, the ones I come across seem to be through private seller's, and I need a dealer for my trade in. I am keeping my eye out for a Mach, though. If I can get one, I already have subframe connector's for it.

Weld in your subfame connectors, go w/ 2 or 4 point cage, your chassis will thank you. Your car has a really low center of gravity. I have kids too. Mine like to brag at school about their Dad's cool Mustang. Do'nt waste the money or effort w/ another car.

As a parent with a few young ones myself you'll learn that there plenty of things to make you completely panic and freak out about. I do it daily. I say drive your car and enjoy it.

Look at it this way with the hard top if you slide off the road and into a lake it will be harder to get him out of the back seat.

j/k. now you have something else to worry about.

I would never seat my kid in a car with a roll bar.

Maybe in a child seat but otherwise I wouldn't.

I would just keep what you have now, rolling a new edge over will be pretty hard to do especially considering your lowered. I'm personally not a big fan of the S197 but thats all preference. Weld your Subframes on and call it a day.

And the mach should have more power than the S197 and weigh less. Just what i would do though. And they are more than likely cheaper.
^ This. S197's seem porky to me.

^ This too, my last mustang was totaled and I should've been seriously hurt....Oh, and that one was a vert too!

S197's are huge and bulky and they have sand in the frame rails for noise supression. That tells you who they are tailored for...OLD FARTS...cough cough. Sorry about that. Had a coughing attack. lol
