Lower the car more, make it damn near impossible to land on the friggin roof

I can't believe it, but I've lived the last like six months without even touching my car. I feel like a completely different person, I miss it so much, I can't believe I'm able to be without it

Didn't do it, I'm keeping the '01.Neither of the two dealers I visited could make the numbers work, but the real kicker is that I really wasn't that dazzled by the car itself (Only drove one). Drove nice, acceleration was disappointing. I guess I'm just used to my own car, but I either didn't realize or had just forgotten how magical 4.10's are. The car I drove was an '06 with a K&N cai and Loudmouth axleback, and 3.55 factory rearend. The Loudmouth's for our cars sound much better by the way. Anyway just wanted to give a quick update, and thanks everyone for your responses.

stock they come with 3.31's i thought??? And yes you are correct about the LM's being nicer on our cars...because for the s197's the loudmouths are just boom tubes without the actual resonators on the car.

The exhaust on the S197 sound pretty good if you outside and behind the car, since the mufflers are out back its hard to hear the sound they make inside the car. Also for it being slower, its actually faster but you can thank the sh*tty "Drive-by-wire" for the lag in power.

They come stock with 3.31's from 05-08 but from the factory you can upgrade to 3.55's. Now from 09+ you have the option of upgrading to 3.73s from the factory.

Ok, that's true but let my reword it. To me, the look of the S197's seems soft. I like the hard lines of the new edge and the 2011 S197. The Sn95 94-98 seem soft and porky like too. I think that's what I'm really getting at honestly.

To me the '05+ Mustangs are somewhat boring trendy/retro styled boxes, a fad started by the PT Cruiser, and like the new Camaro (ugh, the front and back look as though there were designed by separate teams that never talked to one another).

Of the whole genre I think Dodge did it best with the Challenger, too bad it's a Chrysler...
