Thinking about new cams
#21
Well i picked up a set of Hitech stage twos and picked up 30 hp. That was on an 87 tune with the dyno. Im happy with them even though i haven't got to drive it yet .
Ill give a better review in a few weeks haha.
BTW on my dyno sheet my power tops out at around 5500 rpms, which is good for me. If that helps at all.

Actually, if you're reaching the peak at 5500 rpm, then i think MHS's stage 3's should peak just as soon...if not a tad sooner. The lift and duration are almost identical, but the ICL is much more aggressive which will bring the power on sooner, and have stronger mid range power.

What i think is funny is the fact that the MHS stg 3 cams are recommending no less than a 4.30 rear gear to accompany them and youre saying that the power should come on sooner than the hitech stg 2's and i dont think that they recommend less than a 3.73 gear for that.

Looking forward to that review. I bet you're getting anxious to test those puppies out lol.
