I'm usually in the classic section. I have a question about late model fuel injectors. I have a set of them that are a purplish/blue color. I can't find any information on them. Here are the numbers that are on them. They say FoMoCo.

Sorry I can't help directly but in the sniper tuning software instruction manual i remember it identifying injectors to the color I'll look and let you know if someone else doesn't first.

In the fuel injector reference chart in sniper tuning's manual it says

19 lb/hr orange/yellow
24 lb/hr light blue
36 lb/hr dark blue
42 lb/hr lime green
50 gray
55 black with gray
72 black
150 white
160 teal

I think applying that list to "all years" (depending on your definition of all years) could be a stretch--do you know where they came from?

Also, the info in the Special Forces doc is missing the 21 lb/h (pink/lavender) injectors used in the late 2002 to 2004 GTs.

I was told they came from a 2000-2001 Mustang GT 4.6.

The 1999 through 2001 GTs came with the orange 19 lb/h injectors.

Yeah, my 04 came with the pink 19#/hr monsters

The pink (Ford calls it lavender) injectors are 21 lb/h. They were used in late 2002 through 2004 MY as far as I can tell.

I think Ford found that the 19 lb/h (orange) injectors were a bit undersized and were running at 95% duty cycle at maximum power.
