Default i got a 1998 gt auto? where do i go

guys i got a 1998 gt with auto trans, i want to take it to the(1/8 mile) strip and play. where do i need to start at, the stang has 118,00 on the clock and has no leaks at all. i would like to put the trick flow top end kit on the motor but i dont know where to go on fuel pump or injectors??????? what do i need to do to the tranny to beef it up? headers? computer? for gears i would like 3.73. so it can be drove to and from the track, any help on where to start would great. this is my first stang and i love it. i really like to bust on some chevy power mustangs and s-10!!!!!! i am looking for low 8 second stang.

go 4.10's and P/I swap , tune it for starters (Thats what I would do If I had a auto). Build the rear up fat and slap meaty tires if you are gonna do alot of drag racing.

i thought about about buying a used 4.6 and rebuilding it with after market parts. now is the trick flow heads, P/I heads??? or are u all talking about the ford racing heads i see in summit that needs the newer intake?? i need more info on what u guys r calling P/I swap??

i am buy myself on this car cause the inlaws are diehard chevy drag racers so i am the red headed step child when it comes to racing! i was told the trannys are not strong enough for drag racing so what can i do to it??

i have 4:10 ford racing gears in my 8.8 on the 28spline and after 5,000miles the spider gears were slinging bearings and punched a hole in the girdle i upgraded to a better 31spline differential and axles and rebuilt with new 4:10 gears and havent had any problems since and i drag the car alot

my first car was a red 1998 gt windsor block with 2002 pi heads 10.6.1 compression after swap and full bolt ons long tubes 3.73 motive ring pinion gears and nitto 555r drag radials at the track it pulled 12.8 @ 108.5 mph in quarter mile.

Please tell me! The P/I HEADs, are these the head that jegs and summit racing sells? And what is the valve size on them ? And the intake, I got to get the intake, heads what else would I need to get for the swap? And what will the horse power be at with swap, will I need bigger injectors?
