The guy only wants 300whp, new heads mean a new intake, (C heads wont fit with his stock intake) He might as well just do CMS stg 2 N/A cams, valvesprings to rev a little higher some 4.10s or 4.30s a $300 exhaust and sticky tires/suspension.

I wish that was the route i would have went, woulda saved me alot of money and i could be running low 12s possibly even high 11s.

No as long as they are installed possibly 3k isn't ****, granted they do have pretty long stock rods 3k rpm is not that much you should be fine. You have an auto do yourself a HUGE favor and go 4.10s or steeper. Word of mouth is 3.73s in a manual feel like 4.10s in an auto etc etc.
