I will definitely miss them but I had no use for them anymore.

I came really close to picking up a set of those or fn01r-c, had to rethink it tho as I plan on getting a set of brembo 4 pots=/ Ended up with a set of 2 piece 18" rims that weigh 23lbs for front and 25 in rear.

Get those on the car asap=P I wanna see what I passed up heh.

Why did you pass them up? They should fit the Brembo brakes. I am running them with Baer 4 pot calipers...

17" wheels work fine with the Brembo's.

Look on ebay man. every so offten you can find vendors selling older discontinued sets for 400+shipping. I almost bought a set that are almost like the ones jmac had but the older version(the slits are spaced wider apart) about a year ago.

Avoid BBS if you plan on running a big brake kit. I never planned on it and next thing I knew, I was on track and wanted new brakes.

I have heard of other BBS not working as well.

Have not decided what I'm gonna be running up front as well as if I will or will not be looking into larger rears, even during my soloII's my rears retain a bit amount of heat. The HPDE I've ran I saw an 03-04 cobra run in the session before mine (same brake setup as my current ones) glow. So I decided to get 18's so I don't have to box myself in as far as future upgrades go.

I have researched for hours and asked everyone that I know that runs Mustangs on track. The biggest thing is cooling, no matter what brake kit you run. Whether you run 4 pot or 6 pot.

Don't run a cheap pad. My initial pad purchase this year is over $500 just so that I have the correct pads for what I am doing. I am running Carbotech AX6's all around for street and auto-x while I run XP10's up front for track days.

The 18's will allow you to run an 14" rotor or a 6 piston caliper but I think you will be perfectly fine with an 00R kit and some good pads.

I don't think I would want the added rotating mass or tire price of running an 18" wheel.

What brakes did you go with? The Cobra brakes weren't satisfactory?

I am running a stock Mach brake set up in the rear with Carbotech AX6's for everything.
