Default For those with aftermarket wheels

Hey guys, now that its getting closer to springtime I need to start looking for summer tires. I have 18x9 saleens and currently have 275 45 r18 tires on them. My question is, do you guys suggest that I stay at 275's all around? I'm looking to switch my front tires from last summer to the rear so I can have some fun with them for a month or two and buy 2 for the front to start the season off.

What kind of tires are you all going with these days?

You are running a 275/45/18?

That is two inches larger than a stock diameter tire.

That being said, I would use a 275's.

^ Yeah you should be running a 35 series with a 275... I have been employed at Discount Tire for about 3 years now and I am putting on some 285/35/18 555's on the rear and 245/40/18 on the front tomorrow... Also Saleens, mine are black though.

I would never put a 245 on a 9" wheel. Thats just asking for curb rash. Also, you'll be getting compliments from kids with volkswagens as well but i would stick with 275-35-18's all the way around. And if youre looking for a good summer tire, then i'd look into Nitto NT05's. Good for handling and hook reasonably well. Also, look into Nitto INVO's. They are supposed to be a pretty awesome tire. Very quiet and perform great from the reviews that ive read.

The invo's are wierd sizes, I was looking into them since I get "cost" pricing at my work and they didnt sell my size and I ran 245's on a 9in termi wheel on my 96 GT, it looked fine.
