Default Which battery relocation kit do you recommend

Just wondering, for those with the battery relocated to the trunk, which kit did you go with, how easy was the install and would you recommend this? I'm planning on throwing some sound deadening in the trunk and wanna do the battery relocation while I have the interior trim out.

I think vortech claims they use a heavier gauge main wire than other brands. I kind of made my own except for the aluminum box.

What kind of box did you buy? I'm kinda leaning toward this

but would a plastic box like this be better?

I went to vatozone and bought a marine battery box and went to an audio instal shop and bought some 0 gauge wire. all in all it cost me 50 bucks to relocate my battery in my fox body.

I actually found it on craigslist new for $25.00 and the guy had about 30' of power wire he threw in which made doing this really cheap.

It's some kind of tri-fold universal design and it took some drilling for cables/vent and work to secure the battery inside but worth it. Make sure you put a vent in you can cut a groove in the grommet where your filler neck leaves the trunk area.

I asked that on here before doing the relocation and everyone said it was needed to let the gases from the battery escape because the battery is in the interior.
