Default Recommend me a Catted Mid-Pipe

Hey guys,

My next mod is gonna be a catted mid pipe. I was thinking of an MRT Catted H simply because my GT already has an H pipe and I like the way it sounds and because I cant for the life of me find any more standard length catted h pipes.
That being said, I'm not completely opposed to an X pipe.

Which ones are your favorites and which would give me the biggest performance increase.

Thanks!

The only complaint I've ever heard from an MRT catted H pipe was just the price of it.

Has anybody on here bought an O/R H and then added high flow cats to it?

The MRT catted h is very expensive (i had one for 2 years) but worth it IMO. I'd stick with the h pipe (catted or o/r) simply because they sound much better than a x pipe with Flowmaster mufflers.

You should look into a prochamber too. but my magnaflow catted x sounds awesome with my flowmaster cb. I dont have a clip, but i think the catted x is an awesome sound with the flowmasters.

MRT Catted H. High, high quality product (all stainless, high flow cats) and sounds amazing. Fit is great and the sound is awesome even without an aftermarket cat back. That said, it does cost a little more, so see if you can find it from a site sponsor maybe, or used somewhere...

from what i've found it generally ends up costing more to add them to an o/r pipe, but that all depends on the cats you put on.

MRT is the only catted h out there. I think JBA made one for a while too.
I'm extremely happy with mine but I did have to do a little heating and bending because the cats were hitting the floor. I've never heard of anyone else having fitment problems though.

Spend the extra few bucks and get the MRT catted H. I have no fitment issues and the sound is amazing. Trust me you won't regret it. Then throw some gears in it, if you have not done so already and have fun.
