Default anyone with an anderson powerpipe, i got a question

I have a k&n fipk gen 2 intake and on the intake tube they have the 2 spots where you hook the 2 hoses into, does the anderson powerpipe come with the 2 spots where you can hook up those 2 hoses or do you have to get someone to weld a bung on there to hook them up? i appreciate the help

Is this what you're talking about on the powerpipe?

Guess you didn't like my idea of saving money and using a 45 degree 4 inch aluminum pipe?

Vanquish - I am running your same setup as you with vortech aftercooler. Is our intake piping with vortech kit the same size as an anderson power pipe?

I know you weren't asking me, but I am gonna go with a no there. I believe the powerpipe is 4 inches in diameter, which it supposedly gets you more power than the smaller stock intake piece.

thanks jvog. I am going for a re-tune next month as I pegged my lightning meter - going with a PMAS meter and hoping for 500 rwhp and thinking of swaping out my 4.10s to 3.55s.

Did you ever resolve your motor problem?

No sir I have not. I'm kind of fed up with it. I took it to the guy who tunes my car and he thinks its piston slap. In a couple of weeks I am gonna call the guy who built the bottom end and see what he says. He thought it was bad lash adjusters so I replaced them and it was just a big waste of money. A brand new motor shouldn't have piston slap, but I am afraid of telling him to fix it and having him rip into it just to find out its something I did and slap me with a huge bill. I was told it may be something in the clutch but I am not sure yet.

yes its 2 aluminum tubes that you can clamp the hoses to.

I think jvog is right I never had the stock air inlet tubing. I guess the bigger diameter is why they say you can get 1-2 more psi.
