I'm curious. You have said that you gained 190rwhp from your 150 shot multiple times now. My question is how many people do you know that runs a 150 shot and how much HP did they pick up from the 150 shot?

Also, have you ever had your heads off after you installed your cams so you could see what your pistons looked like?

One more thing, where is this list you talk about "Best ETs?" I would actually like to see that list to actually see which cams most people are running.

Those MHS Stage 3 cams are going to give you a much better midrange than the Hitech cams. Drivers being equal, you should win

For starters I know for a fact that # 7,8,9,10,11,13,17,19,20,21,24,26,27,30,31,32,34, all use VT/CMS cams and I'm sure there's many more . Most are Stage II's but a couple are Stage I's.
As far as my N2O numbers, I think it's not hard to figure out. Check sig.

The fact that my heavy wheels take lots of power to move will give you a slight advantage...lol i think our cars put next to each other would be a pretty stout race. i'd be fun too. I always thought it would be awesome to rent out a track with forum members so we could all come back and harass each other about who beat who and all that stuff. Plus it'd be cool to meet a lot of the forum members.

Those ETs are impressive. So a stock 4.6 block, PI heads and aftermarket cams can run a 10 second pass? There must be a lot of ported heads and bigger than Stage 2 cams on that list, right?

Also, about your 190hp. I was wanting to know what other people are seeing HP wise with their 150 shot. I don't see people running 150 shots with cams to know if your gain is normal or high.

I agree that CMS stage 2's are very impressive, even with stock heads. That's if there are no clearance issues. The 225 intake duration, and 108 intake centerline make great power, but it's cutting too close on the stock PI head IMO.

It really boils down to taking a gamble. Some hit, and some don't.

I aint risking it. New intake valves whenever i do cams!!! I'd notch the pistons but taking out the pistons is probably going to be much more involved and involve more time than just getting new intake valves, or else i'd do that or both. But i'd rather take the time and invest in some new intake valves or get mind ground down to prevent PTV contact.
