I'm still curious to see how much timing he is running.

tbird is right, and anything more than 3.73 on a blown 2v is a mistake.

im speaking from experience as well. hell even having to top out at 120 ish on the highway in races was SO frusterating. many argue 120 is too fast for the street, true, but youd be surprised how fast you get there and with a centri when its BARELY starting to really get moving after 90, it only adds to the frusteration and craving for more power.

4.10s + SC really isn't all that fun. For one, I don't have much traction in 1st or 2nd gear on the street, even from a slow roll and on nitto DRs. Second, it really does suck having to shut down when you max 4th gear out around 113 ish. I don't drive at that speed often, but it's just feels like its cut short.

I'm sorry, I feel bad for you.

Justin Starkey did a TERRIBLE tune on my friend's '00 v6 (supercharged) and he's supposed to be the "3.8 guy"

The car wouldn't start in cold weather unless you held it WOT, our first handheld tuner which we purchased through him was bad and not functioning properly, he blamed it on us (it wouldn't flash everything, like the rev limiter for example). A/F ratios just weren't right.

When the car was moving, the idle speed was set to 1500-1600. So you'd have to keep it in gear coming up to a stop, otherwise WOOOOOSH out of the bypass valve as it revved up coming to a stop. We couldn't adjust this at our end and Justin never made any changes despite our requests.

Sure, the car ran great at WOT - but unfortunately that's about the only time it did. It was just a huge hassle and for what we paid to have that all done by him, we felt ripped off. Thus, why I tuned my car myself. I spent 1/3 as much and it runs perfect in all weather conditions and I get everything the way -I- want it.

meh, those were on the nitto DRs (Which are coming towards the end of their life) I'm actually going to go with some normal street tires next because I have slicks now for the track. I HATE having the DRs in the rain, I have to say a prayer everytime it rains hard because I know that I might not make it. lol
