Ha, just decided to post in here because I always post in the 4.6 forum. But, I thought I had bad luck with cars, my buddy I deployed with bought a 67 impala 2 door, looked amazing and he got it pretty cheap. Driving it on a 10 hour drive home the motor blew. He had a local shop where it broke down take a look at it, 3 weeks later he had a rebuilt motor and was charged $2400. He made it 6/8 hours home and the motor threw a rod!!!! Anyone else have bad luck with used cars like that?

That does suck, never had that bad of luck, but I did go out to my car this weekend since it was kinda nice. reinflated the front tire that had gone down over the winter, jumped the battery, and now, the car won't start. So one new battery later, I am hoping I have it taken care of, but I feel the fuel pump may have gone on it, that and I have an issue in the brake lights because they don't come on, but other than that, life is peachy.
