Default Question about PA Racing K-Member

I'm looking to place an order in the next day or so, but have a quick question.

I know I am planning on keeping the stock A-arms for now, so I'll be paying the $50 upgrade cost for the spring perches so I can keep my stock springs. My question is, what exactly are you paying for when you add the $50 extra for the motor mount option?

Is this just so you don't have to bolt your stock mount to their k-member and they already have the mounts welded in? I've read of where people have purchased the mount option, and others that have used stock. Does it matter what you do? Just want to make sure I'm ordering what I need to order so I can slap this thing on when it arrives.

Thanks.

The $50 dollars designates which motor you'll be using

So basically if you've got a 4.6L, it goes without saying that you need to add the $50 for the mounts?

I assume the only reason you wouldn't add the money for the mounts would be if you were swapping in a different motor, so you'd have to do something custom w/mounts on your own?

Thanks for the quick replies, I know I sound like a complete noob.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Gonna place my online order either tonight or tomorrow!

Did you go w/the mild steel on yours? Mine is 99% street driven only a few days a week, no drag or auto-x really.
