Well i would say you're dumb for getting rid of it in the first place, but since you pocketed some money and picked up a clean garage queen for a very reasonable price, then i'd say you did good

lol, even after putting over 1k in PB's car I did a little better than breaking even, then I bought the truck, put 2k in it, then made $1500, so I'm really not out any money by trading, and I have a car that is worth more on paper than the 99'.
