Default Fuel pump help/questions... maxed out on the dyno

my fuel pump (bbk 255 lph) maxed out at 385hp on my second pull... my tuner recomended a ford gt pump. how much hp is that good to? will be upgrading to D1 next year with forged internals. I want to be around 500-550hp when its all said and done... opinions?

You are going to need some type of sump or baffle for it to work correctly I believe...

I'd say just buy an SVT Focus pump and try out a new pump because I dont really think that BBK's stuff is top notch and a lot of guys are using the focus pump on their blower cars over 400rwhp and they are doing fine. If that dont work, get a second one and find a cobra fuel hat and there you go. Would a boost-a-pump work in this situation or no???
