Default Injector size and nitrus?

So its gonna be at least till august untill i can get my vortech installed/tuned. I was thinking about throwing a 100shot of nitrus on the car since i have a zex kit laying around not being used. So my question is should i upgrade my injectors or just leave the stockers alone? I already have all my fuel upgrades for the blower sitting at the house so i figured i would install the fuel pump. I have 42# injectors for the blower but there is no point putting those in until then. Getting 22# or 24# injectors isnt an issue for me but are they worth it? I may even go as far as a 125shot on the bottle. Answers/opinions needed please and thanks.

Don't switch the injectors unless you're tuning it. It'll run like crap.

Wet kit? Just put the kit on. I ran a 100 shot forever with no problems.

Dry kit? Put the 42# injectors in and tune it in. The car will run just fine stock with 42# injectors. When I had mine in I actually picked up a couple MPG from the better fuel atomization from the cobra injectors. I thought I was going to have problems with such a small pulse width and the 42# injectors... but it was just fine.

Drop the fuel pump in either way - no harm in switching that, and nothing in the tune has to be adjusted for it.

Again... DON'T SWITCH THE INJECTORS WITHOUT TUNING IT. This isn't one of those "oh i've heard you need a tune" things. It's one of those yes, you need a tune things. With 42# injectors on the stock tune, the car probably won't even start, and even if you do get it to start, you probably won't make it past 2000 RPM.

Well if the OP has a tuner, which from the mods list it doesnt show that he does but from the list he probably should have one by now, they have the parameter in the tuner to pick what size injectors youre using, doesnt it???

Not in the SCT handhelds AFAIK, which means it won't be in the Diablo ones either... been a while since I've spent any time with either of them though.

My xcal3 has it in there IIRC. I think you can also choose to swap to a 90mm lightning maf as well and change the parameter in the xcal3 handheld also.

If your kit is a wet shot your fuel is supplied from your fuel rails. You don't need to change the injectors.

i do have an sct handheld, so it will be tuned for it, and yes it is a wet shot. fuel pump is no doubt being swapped, just wanted to make sure injectors were fine for it, i havent ran nitrus on a mustang before so want to make sure. I may also get a cai temporarily since i wont be blown until august now.

ShadowDrake is correct. Only if it's a dry kit will you need to change the injectors. Mine is dry, and i run 42's that have been retuned to work both n/a, and on the juice.
