Default engine pro question 4.6 woas...

ok basically i tore my motor down and altho i didnt spin any bearings i did fry 2 really bad, and scored the crap out of 2 more...rod bearings that is. But when i took the mains out i boticed that i had uneven wear on the oil pump side main bearings, which i beleive is #1. half the bearing was worn down and the other half apeared to have a factory printed symbol on it? so im wondering what the hell? just seems odd. and lastly the #5 main bearing has the thrust washers on it...and i **** you not as far as i can tell i have 3? not 4 but 3....im thinking that cant be right? they are split in half so i should have 4....what the hell is going on with my motor? and whats the deal with the pins and side bolts? anyone know

ive done a few motors, this is just the oddest motor ive ever seen, and of course the most damaged...just trying to do damage control and decide where to go from there, any help would be great.

IDK about the thrust washer, but the pins and side bolts are there for main cap support, its a much better setup than the older pushrod setup where the crank is hangin down below the block.
