Default This is some bulls**t!!!!

Last week I found a newer engine for my car on craigslist. Its a 98 GT engine w/tranny that has only 30,000 on it for $600. Hell of a deal so I jumped on it. Talked to the guy a few days ago and he said I could come and pick it up on tuesday (today) after he got off of work which was around 4:30pm today. So I borrowed a buddies truck and drove just over 3 hours to go pick up the engine. As I am pulling up to the guys house, I notice that an engine and tranny just pulled out of his driveway and was now driving down the street in the back of somebody else's truck. I get out of the truck and see what the hell is going on. He tells me that I should've been there earlier in the day to pick it up because he didn't work and he wasn't going to wait on me forever. I about flew off the hinges but the 4 other UFC fighter looking dudes that were standing there kind of changed my mind and I didn't feel like getting tied in a knot around a tree or something. Now, since this douche failed to call me and let me know that he didn't work today, I drove 3 more hours back to where I live engineless and now I have to keep searching for another one and hope that my car keeps running until I do find one. God im pi**ed.

I have learned that you cannot trust ANYONE. Literally. I build and sell road bikes. I have gotten screwed so many times with that. You honestly have to spell out all of the details about when and where you are meeting, the price, conditions, etc.

It's turned into a very sad world out there my friend. That's why I want to work for myself someday. I don't know how or why, but I will someday.

I know how you feel exept my story isnt as bad. Beautiful black 95 gt for sale for 4200 with 105k on the clock. Called him told him I had cash in hand and was comming to get the car. 45 min later im getting off the highway onto the main road he lives off of I get a call he said he just sold it.

Now im stuck with this 4.6 2v

People are Dbags and always will, hope you find another engine.

dude, i got screwed over too, but not as bad... still pissed and i know how you feel!

Those rims ive been wanting? yea.. i got screwed over. i talked to the guy for about a week before we were gonna meet.. texting everyday about them here and there.. we were supposed to meet on sunday. i hear from him friday night, so far so good. i text him saturday to figure out the exact location and what time works best for him ( we had a area, and a general time set ) so i text him, nothing. call him up, nothing. left him 2 voice mails.. nothing back yet. call him up sunday at 11am, no answer. left a voicemail. still nothing and its Tuesday. Like shouldn't the guy have the courtesy to call/text back saying theres a family issue or something like that at least.. even if he sold them it would be nice so i wasnt wasting my time.. i did mention that in one of the voicemails too... this is getting me mad just talking about it. im about to call the guy up right now. I want those saleen wheels D:

You don't know how many times that crossed my mind while I was arguing with him. But like I said, the 4 other UFC fighter looking dudes kind of persuaded me not to.
