My grandfather sold his '96 Towncar a few years ago to someone local with about 250K; it's a small town so I still see the car around from time to time. Not sure how well it's doing anymore, but the thing ran like butter when he sold it.

My parents 00 expedition has a 5.4 with 195k... but it's not doing so hot, it probably needs a head gasket and has the dreaded passenger head tick.

Got coolant and oil mixing :/

these hit 300-500 all the time....dont forget about the 4.6 taxis

a lot of companies in NY will run them to 500k and then retire them and get a new one to replace it

its not a 4.6 but i seen a honda with 999,945 on it and i never found out if it would roll over or not.

mines at 140k, but I know the crown vics probably have double with the taxis and cops rolling around.

Go to TJ and hop in a taxi.....they are all over 500K
