Default Looking at 02' GT is this worth it??

Hey guys, im finaly lookin to get out the v6 n into a v8, and i've been lookin around and came across this car http://dlrinventory.lotboys.com/deal...FP42X22F217417

It's a 02' GT with 71k miles on it, the paint is flawless, flowmasters, racing suspension, car was from someone who needed a family car (aka wife made him sell it) and traded it for a suv. The site says like $9.5k i think, but when i was talking to the dealer he said they were looking for around $8k for it.

The only issues im having is that on the drivers side rear wheel-well, theres a 2"x2" spot right under the lip on the painted part where it looks as if someone bumped into a poll backing up or something, it's too small to be something major, but big enough to need more the touch up paint) just needs to be banged out a little and have that small spot repainted. I was wondering what you guys though as to how much that would cost and if the car is worth the price...

Thanks plus anything u guys can think of to check on this model in particular...

Pass.
Look around more, you can find a cleaner car for that price.

I'd buy from an individual too. Every dealership says their cars came from a lil old lady or a middle aged man.

yeah right.

And i highly doubt that it has racing suspension and all the stuff they say it does. It probably has lowering springs and to a dealership, that probably is racing suspension.

I will sell you my 2000 GT with 58k, and whats in my Sig for 9.5 lol. Dude, please do not buy from a dealer. You can find a MUCH nicer GT with lower miles and one that has not been abused like that one has for a lot less money. Keep looking.

The reason why i wana get a 00'-02' is because i dnt like the hood on the 99' and 04' is a little above my budget, and i wana find one with like 50 or 60k miles on it. but i mean hey if i find one thats a 03' or 04' im all over it lol
