No no no, here's what sucks...when you have problem with your car that you can't figure out, so you start from the cheapest part to replace to fix it and work you way up...then you find out it's the most expensive part, plus you've spent all the money unneccessarily on the stuff you thought the problem could be.

it's depressing when I think about how much money I've spent on my suspension (7k) plus all the other things I've spent money on. I could have easily bought an RS4 and been happier. But oh wells, I bought the best car I could afford at the time.

Its depressing for me because even though my Fiance allowed me to purchase new wheels/springs for me car, I know in my heart that the money I spent would have been 1300 more in my savings for either rent, a home, or whatever when she gets of school this spring.

We all have a very unique and rare disease. I mean its honestly a lot better then going to the casino, strip club, or whatever you may have it and dropping a lot of money on things you dont need. I would say we all have a pretty healthy hobby..cough cough addiction I mean.

I can justify what I am spending money on for my car when something needs replacing, but at this exact time in my life (barely making enough money to live on..thanks mom and dad for free rent and paying for my cell phone and insurance). I am only 22...Instead of losing sleep like I do every night about making more money and stressing about my crappy job, I should thank God I have the opportunities I have been given and look forward to the future and what it holds....

Dude, you need to calm down man. I just blew $1000 on wheels and tires and the rear tires now need replaced. Do i feel bad about either purchase...HELL NO!!! lol im about to be dumping a lot of money into an IRS with coilovers and front coilover suspension. I have no problem spending money on my car. Now when i go down to the local diner thats open 24 hours from thursday-saturday and blow $10 on food because i eat a lot, now that pisses me off and makes me mad when i could be buying parts for my car with that money. Spending money on my car makes me happy...spending money on other stuff not so much.

So HP, get the mods that you know you want. You will be happy in the end by doing it. Everything recently that ive done to my car or plan to do to my car will make a big enough difference to make me love my car even more. You need to start doing bigger mods that will make more difference than rear brakes and stuff. That strut tower brace probably wont do one lick of good for you. You need to buy stuff like LCA's and FLSFC's and other things that will make a big difference like your gears and you wont find yourself feeling bad because you will see the difference everyday. Coilovers and the IRS would be well worth it to me if it were just an upgrade in ride quality, but it is also good for handling so its going to be a costly, but well worth it in my mind mod to do.

Thanks guys. I do kinda feel better. We all seem to have a disease haha.

And teej thats what i am thinking.. I spent $75 on mach 1 rear brakes so that when i got the fronts, the rears wont look out of place. Our rear rotors are puny little things...I could have done something else with that $75... Plus now i will have the inconvenience of needing a bigger spare tire...

I think i might just pass on the STB... I already have a sway bar and my car really corners well IMO. its a fun *** car to rip around corners. I just thought that the added chasis stiffening might be a good compliment to my X brace and FLSFC

The strut tower brace wont do much if anything for you really. Spend that money for something else of save it for a supercharger not that it will get you very far. lol but its a start.
