I'm not too far from paying it off- I owe about 2 grand on it and there wouldn't be any penalty for paying it off early. I know the responsible thing would be to pay it off but I can't help but want to mod haha

I voted for paying it off,but I understand wanting to mod it.
If you do want mods, than I`d pass on the wheels because of the price and probably do gears.
For the price of the wheels and tires(?)1000+/- you but half as a payment and spend the other half on the x-pipe or the gears (my choice, if you could find a place to install them in your budget)

Gears are like 2 hundy bro! Get the gears. Pay the loan off. Feels go to own a car. Mine's paid in full. So is my bike. AND my DD. =)

My roomie just got an '06 eclipse GTS. $12-13k sticker price or whatev. I think he walked out with a 15k loan. Guess what his payment is...OVER $500! Fail...
I won't be getting a car loan anytime soon. I like paying in full.

Paying it off would be the "smart" thing to do but as long as your not worried about having trouble paying it later then its up to you. Gears are fun as hell for the cost. exhaust is fun too but driving youll feel the gears ALOT more. dont fear getting 4.10 gears. there are lots of people on here that started with 3.73 or 3.90 and went to 4.10 later or say they wish they did. Do yourself a favor and do a poll on what gears to get and maybe think about going big.
dont bother with the wheels yet to much money for what you get. That should be towards the bottom of the list.

Double post FTL!!! lol but anyways, I would go with 3.90's and not 4.10's if i had a car equiped with the T45. On the highway the rpm's at 75 would be like 2700 and my car is already at 2500rpm at 75 and i have the 4.10's and i think thats all the higher i like to go because of rpm's. 3.90's or 3.73's should put your car right around there at 75.
