Default Would buy my car for 20K???

Hey,

I have a 2003 GT convertible in silver in excellent condition 5 speed with over 12K in mods: see my signature below for mods.

My new motor only has 3500 miles completely forged car (car has 61,xxx miles) will be retuned in a couple of weeks with new PMAS meter and Anderson Power Pipe targeting just under 500 rwhp - which I will spend another 850 bucks.

Car is not a track car just a weekend crusier perfect rubber at all four corners new brakes all around suspension done. Only thing not done to this car is tranny or built rearend but they work perfectly.

PM if any interest but car is an absolute beast and head turner. Depending if any interest I am looking to go with a used Porsche Boxster - not nearly as fast but is one of my dream cars.

Keith

You would be better off parting out those brakes to me

I think its kind of a high price. for 20k i think that i would rather have a termi. sorry =/

maybe 16k though.. thats fair..

you'll never get your money back out of all the money u put in.. it sucks

i would say 14-15k is the max you would get out of it, and thats if you found the right buyer...and thats a pretty big if

interesting keep comments coming. A termi vert though is going to run you much more than 20K though. I would never let it go for 16k but is why I am asking....

^ You'd be surprised if one has enough patience to find one that cheap.... Why not keep your car, save up money, and have both in the end?

There are a handful of them on autotrader around 20k with pretty decent milage on them.
I'd say you could get 17,500 if you found someone looking for a car that is already built, but like someone previously stated, that's not the easiest thing t do..

its not built....stock trans and stock rear end....only a fool would spend that much on it...no offense OP, its a nice car...youre just not being realistic...i know it sucks to put so much into something and not have the value budge very much, but thats how it works

OP, I have FAR FAR more money in my car, and I couldn't get 16k for it. I know, I've tried. I couldn't have gotten that kind of cash when it had the 6spd and IRS in it, and it was in PERFECT condition

Sorry man, just got to be realistic in this economy, unfortunately.

Now, 13-14k? you'll get that pretty easy, 15k is about the limit depending where in the country you are.
