that was the down side of cutting mine when I did. A little while later I had to lift the car again and do it all over. Doing it right the first time is always the way to go but I was bored one day and said F it why not

Please explain to me how cutting the fronts is any different from the rears. They are both a linear rated springs. As long as you dont cut off to much it will work just fine.

Probably because of the difference in dampening from shock style dampers to strut style dampers. They dampen differently i'd say or they wouldnt be called different things. But i might just not know what im talking about. lol

Funny story really quick: When I first bought my mustang, it already had Jade-R wheels (20x9 and 20x10). I realized that i was having rubbing issues, but only when i turned left... as it turns out, the idiot that had previously owned the car, decided that he wanted to rotate the tires, so i had a 20x9 and a 20x10 in the front.... pft, idiots theses days.
Lmfao. That's hilarious

that still has nothing to do with why cutting the front is going to be any worse/better than the back.. your not changing the spring constant of the spring. also the shocks struts are valved for the front/rear spring rate.. so again.. that really has no effect on anything..

it makes no difference if you cut off a half a coil to a coil. its a linear rate spring. I would never do it because its a ghetto way to mod your car.. but it can be done without any issue.

I just cut mine 2 weeks ago and I like it. I cut 1 coil off each spring and it lowered it 1" all the way around. Would I do I again, Hell yeah. I've had a few lowered vehicles that where "lowered right" and every one had a stiff ride. My silverado was the worst, there was absolutly no weight transfer so I couldn't launch very well.

I decided to cut my springs and replace the front struts with the cheep monroes for a 92 GT because they are 1" shorter then my stock ones. The car seems to ride about the same as before. I haven't had a chance to really push it through corners or try any hard launches but it rides very nice on the highway.
