it seems to me that your gear of choice would be 3.73s for your 5 speed this will give you 120 out of 4th gear with rev limiter at 6200.

i feel the same way but got the 4.10 gears. I thinking of going with 3.55s myself not that I will be going that fast but 1st and 4th gear run out way to fast for me with 4.10s and my setup.

Will I notice a huge difference in tq lost going from 4.10s to 3.55s? I thinking i will be offset of having more speed in every gear would be more beneficial.

That's what I'm starting to lean towards. I went with 3.73's in my old car, might as well go with what works. Haha

i love my 4.10s but in the end 3rd and 4th gear is way to close...

racing in 5th in a mustang gt is absolutely pointless. If your in overdrive you picked the wrong race, period.

roll racing is only hardcore if you shut down at 110 in 4th!

And pulling s-l-o-w-l-y to 160 or w/e speed is? Start the race from a dig or a slow roll and have at it... racing someone in OD is pointless. Bottom line, if you need to shift into OD you picked the wrong race for your cars set up.

im with hoss...if you cant show em whos boss B4 top of 4th, then why keep going...we arent hondas shifting to 5th before the end of the quarter...

All you need is a 28in tire and a built bottom end........Problem solved! lol

I had my car to 135 in 4th with 4.10's with plenty of room to spare. 100+ in the 1/8 mile in 3rd everytime.
