Good buy? 96 GT vert $2,500?
What do you guys think? Its a 96 vert, new top, 5-speed, fairly fresh paint( blue with black top), ring and pinion is shot and thats about it i guess. Heres a link I can pick it up for $2,500 because its a close friend. Good deal or should I just pass?

the way I see it is if you are confortable with the echanical condition of it and it looks and drives good and is what you want to play with then go for it! I bought a 96 gt coupe once that had over 198k on it to play with. Other than a bad shift fork and heater core it ran great and the mods on it had be beating new edges at the track

i guess none of you read the ad...i wouldnt be caught dead in that abomination and i havent even see a pic, the description was enough for me
it also has 180k miles, and its got 270 hp! must be the whistle tips
This car has many aftermarket mods. Flowmaster exhaust that sounds awesome, euro taillights, projector headlights, custom flame grille, strobe lights in the hood scoops, bodykit, 18inch 5 spoke wheels black with machined lip, throttle body spacer, K&N cold air intake, pioneer head unit, 2 12" Kicker Comps with a Kicker amp in the backseat, new black convertible top

I thought the same thing. Any time a Body Kit and Euro are in the same add you know it is ugly

yeah that was just an ad that was thrown together, it hasnt been dynoed. Ive know the car for pry atleast 6-8 years as well. Yes im not fond of euros and that stuff either but I think its going to be a fun project, the top is new, paint is fresh by a few years, only thing wrong is driver seat motor and ring and pinon is shot, and the euros.. and if heres a pic if you really want to see. I'm going to pick it up and make my changes on it if you want to laugh you can, when it blows your doors off down the road well see whos laughing.
