I have one sitting at the house. What do you guys think? should i keep the stock gt hood on or the cobra hood? which one would look better?

Do you have the 99-01 GT hood(with no scoop)?

If you have that one i would put it on. If you have the 02-04 i would keep your stock one.

If you use that specific cobra hood, your car will look like an 04 6 cyl mustang because thats the hood that came on those. I'd keep the hood and sell the other one.

And he has the 99-early 01. You can tell because of the wing that he has.

can't see the pic, but like tj said, if you get a 99-01 (i've seen two people put 99-02 this morning, i guess both members live in australia), your car will look like a V6 because they started using those hoods. when i went with a new hood, i went with OEM mach 1 shaker. couldn't be happier

Guess you are right they are the same as the v6 hood.i didn't really think about it..
why would they use a v6 hood for a cobra? oh well.Guess ill keep the stock hood for now.
how much the cobra hoods sell for? any ideas?

I say sell it and buy a cowl hood! It should be easy. People will usually buy anything from a cobra lol.

if it wa me I would put it on. I like that hood the best. no fake scoop, just a simple down to business hood.
