I think it's steep man. I bought a 2001 Mustang GT convertible, leather...and pretty much every available option...it was an auto. For $6500 and that was in 2008. It did have 82k on it. Is that kbb retail, trade in or private party? Honestly no one pays Kbb or anywhere near it. I'd say it's worth 5500-6000k at most, unless it's at a dealer. Any mods or stock?

Set up a meet. Drive the car. Pick it apart. Pull out your CASH. Say "I've got $6800 in my hand". He'll bite. Works every time.

$7,000 is what you might pay for a '99 cobra. Dude^ is right; $5-6 grand is more realistic.

5 grand for that car is too cheap.

I wish it would go for 12 grand though. Make me feel a little better about mine.
