Default What's the best service/repair manual??

I've got a 96 Mustang GT and I want to find a repair/service manual for the car that's easy to read, specific...ect. What's the best one out there, I've seen a couple different ones. The one at Autozone is like $24.95 but it's kind of vague because it covers 94-04 I think or it might be 94-98? I want one that is specifically for my 4.6 with 215hp stock not the 98 that was upgraded and had more power (225 I think?)...and I certainly don't want to have a 5.0 in the mix. Is there anything out there just for SN95 4.6L Mustang's, where do I get it? I've done a few things here and with cars I am not a mechanic by any means, but I like to do work on the car my self as it saves money it's fun for me...so I'd like to have a service manual on hand so I don't have to post on MF every other day hahaha. Anyways any recommendations would be much appreciated.

the haynes manual is what I use. There are different chapters for the 5.0/npi4.6/pi4.6

Its really not bad though, has a bunch f torque specs for pretty much everything which is useful. It has electrical diagrams and what not. The 98 and 96-97 aren't really that different other then fuel system changes and some exhaust things. The service manual they use at ford is like 70 or 80 dollars IIRC and that would be a manual just for your year.

I own Ford, Chilton, and Haynes... Always had as much reference material as I could for all of my cars.

I have a haynes, it gets the job done, noting too exciting in it

I'd do what cliffyk said (like always) and get the ford factory shop manual if you can find one

ya I found a couple on ebay for around $40-50...I think I might pick one up. However the wiring diagram/vacuum is a totally diff manual and costs an additional $40-50 do I need that as well?
