I think when i bought my Roush in Florida they didnt do emissions either. Explain??
Florida dropped all emissions testing about 15 years ago in an quite uncharacteristic, for a government, fit of common sense.

It was costing them money as the expenses outpaced the fees, and it dawned on someone (who deserves a reward) that fewer than 1% of the cars tested were failing--and that only cars older than 3 or 4 years (I don't remember for sure) were being tested. So overall the failure rate was 0.01% or less...so what was the point opf testing them at all?

Prior to that they had the same sort of county-by-county nonsense.

Either to the flywheel or the rear wheels. Anyway, its a 5 speed with a short throw, BBK cold air intake, BBK throttle body (not sure what size), under drive pulleys, bassani headers, full bassani exhaust, 4:10 rear end. It also has a cobra hood, front bumper, rims, eibach springs (dropped 2 inchs), and a few other random things. Obviously the last few mods dont have anything to do with horsepower, just wanted to let you guys know.
A stock 03 GT PI 5 speed hits the dyno at 219 rwhp. The BBK intake will make 1 hp, the pulleys take 3.5 hp off the engine in resistance. The shorty headers and Exhaust system should yield 15 to 18 rwhp. Nothing else really matters. The TB might give you 1 or 2 more HP..... I would say 239 to the wheels max. But more like 234 or so. Or about 282 to the fly.

tune may give you an extra 7 hp....

It your exhaust system has catalytic converters there will be no codes thrown--if it does not have catalytic converters, and you bought it from a licensed dealer, then it was an illegal sale...

It depends on the overall diameter of the tire--if your tires are 315/35-17s then they are the same diameter as the stock 245/45-17s and the speedometer will be correct.

Did the seller give you any reason to believe the car had a custom tune?
Cliffyk, The seller never mentioned a tune, but then again he didnt even know it had a throttle body on it till i pointed it out to him. What happened was he owns a car lot, and he bought the car for his son who showed now interest in it and wanted a mountaineer instead..(its beyond me why..poor kid). Anyways, he drove the car for a few as a personal car until i bought it off him. He got it from a guy on a trade in and didnt know to much about the car or the mods.
