Hi, I recently joined the forum because I recently bought a 2004 mustang gt. It only has 11,000 miles on it aswell. I have a few fast questions about a bolt on I did. Just yestarday I installed BBK lowering springs. I was wondering if there is a break in period of where I shouldnt drive the car hard? Also, It has only dropped about 3/4 of an inch. Will the car get any lower over the next few weeks, or am I stuck with the current ride height? Thanks for any answers. After I wash it, Ill take a few pictures and post them up as my avatar.

Did you put the isolators back on the springs whne you installed them? If you did, you could remove those to have your car lower slightly more. About 1/8 inch I think I have heard from removing the iso's.

I am pretty sure there is no break in period on them and your car shouldn't lower more over time unless something goes wrong. (If I'm wrong here, someone please correct me.)

And most important, post some pics of your car for us man!

Springs will settle, but only for a week or so i'd say. after that, if you want it any lower, you'll have to either take out the iso's or get new springs. Those you might be able to cut seeing that they are linear rate springs but i wouldnt suggest that. Give it about a week and see what you think of the stance.

No problem man. We're here to help. Good luck with your car. You should throw up a "hey, new here" thread with some pics of your car and some of your plans for it.

Well I just measured the ride height again. It has settled down in total of 1.25 inches overall. So a 6.25 ride height.
