My buddy has 4.10s and he said hes in 4th going 35mph lol that made me lean towards 3.73s, is there any other way than buying an sct or diablo to correct the car after the gears are put in

Getting a mechanical speedometer cable. I think the tuner is much easier, plus you get a performance boost and can turn off rear cats when you get a midpipe. And its about $200 bucks more.

So what youre in 4th at 35??? Im at fifth by 45, if not earlier and kept stock gas mileage and gained mileage in town because i can make it to higher gears quicker. 4.10's are superior to the 3.73's in all applications other than 450+rwhp cars. Even guys with cobras run 4.10's with their setups at or over 500rwhp. I saw an 03 cobra once that was running 4.30's with a whipple 2.3 making over 600rwhp...i have 4.10's, and i wouldnt mind going to 4.30's if that tells you anything.
