Default Benefit of aftermarket K-member brace?

I was wondering what the true benfits are of having an aftermarket k member. I am going to be doing long tubes in a couple of weeks, and I figured that if I was going to replace the brace, now would be a good time. Also which ones are better?

hrmms aftermarket k member or brace?? the brace helps with structural rigidity while the k member is beneficial for various reasons, clearance, weight, and mounting point of the a arms to name a few.

I would not go with any other company for suspension parts other than MM or Griggs.

But it this way.... with my tubular K member I can remove both my long tube headers with the engine still bolted to the motor mounts. I can also change my starter with out touching anything else..... try to do either of those things now.

did that before with the stock k member, got a really nasty shock.. forgot to discharge it after the battery was disconnected.

Can't work on my car anymore due to the apartment building I live in doesn't allow the car to be raised.. Which is why I'm happy with my oil filter relocation kit^^, love waving an oily hand at management=P
