best motor to drop into an SN95 on a budget

you guys arent going to like this cause im bias'd ls1 owner but i saw ppl do lq9 swaps (basically an ls2 iron block) and they have over 350fwhp STOCk and to make the swap real easy you can just carburate it i seen ppl do these swaps for less then 2k then u install a cam some ls6 heads (500 used0 and ls6 intake manifold (used 300) you'll have a 450+whp monster lol

there is thread around here somewhere about putting 3v heads on with adapters for the exhaust and intake. worth looking into. or you can do the 460 bb swap!
