then why did you go with the straight pipes? a procharger isnt any safer then any other blower or nitrous. my buddy ran a 150shot for 5 years. then sold the car. sit was running like a champ still

A stock 4.6 block can safely take a 100 shot all day long with a good dyno tune. Hell 125 shot if you like, but I prefer to stay a little conservative so that's why I mentioned 100 shot. And by the way, you can blow up your engine just as easy with that Procharger.

Regarding your mufflers, in theory by removing them you will gain a few hp in upper rpm's (just a few that you'll probably never feel), but the reduction of back pressure is gonna cost you some lower rpm torque (which you will most likely feel).
