and it was all one piece like the first picture? it seems to me if you got the 3 piece you would have leak problems with all of those connections. they still sell the 3 piece they just say not coated.

I have the 3 peice but it isnt black. It is leak free and was easy to install.

Yeah I think I will go with that one, sorry to ask so many questions but does anyone have the ford part number for the metal gasket? so you do not get leaks by using the paper one that mac gives you.

do I need the silver tube in the upper left corner? what is it for?

No problem questions are good. Checked it out. Looks good to me. I laughed when i saw, "But, of course, they're not street legal." lol As far as code...its like 12 bucks and its in stock if you go to your ford dealer and pick one up.
