Default are gears worth it?

I need new pinion bearings so i figured while its already open I would do gears. my gt has 100k on it, is putting in 3.73s worth 300 plus buying a tuner so between 6- 7 hundred dollars? just want opinions on if i should do it or not

Does a bear sh*t in the woods?! haha and no you do not HAVE to buy a tuner, you can calibrate your speedometer using a speed calibrater (link below)

4.10's and 3.73's you will notice a world of a difference

Almost everybody on here will tell you to run 4.10's if you're not going to run any kind of forced induction.

huey_33 is right man. Trust me... im auto. From one auto to the next 4.10s ONLY. Plus get that tuner. You won't regred the tuner. BUT you'll regret not doing the 4.10s. If you have a manuel then I might say different. But auto = 4.10 period.
