Default Speed calibrator

Trying to install a speed cal on my 98 gt. Powered it from the cig lighter and wired it in correctly to the vss. Speedometer just stays at zero. If anyone ahs ran into this before or has experience with these any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks

Does it blink read when your moving. If it does then you need to make sure the code you have is correct. I had to call dallas speed myself and get a new code.
