yea if i had a built rear i would definatley be shootin for 12s, i just don't want to launch to hard and break somthing, whether it be my clutch or rear :/

no idea if ill break anything, ill let you know! haha i just have a rebuilt rear with carbon fiber clutches, but its factory stuff out side of that. I wont be running slicks either. But within the month i should have the 6 speed and the rebuilt motor, and im going to try again at getting into the 12s with a bolt on mustang. Im hoping i get a little extra umph, since when i tore it apart i found the clutch was right on the metal buttons, which explained why it was unpredictable and felt like it was slipping, and also found a rediculus amount of oil floating around my intake( and of course tons of metal shavings from the 4 bearings i destroyed). I had so much blow by it was sad. last time i checked compression i thought it was around 155, i didnt think that was bad. So a few lighter parts later and im hoping that and a fresh build will put me 12.99

sounds good thanks everyone! ill let you all know what i do, a new option just may have came available to me, friend with an 03 mach just blew his engine and he happens to have a vortech on it, lol...if i can scoop that from him i may because it looks like hes gonna scrap the motor and go with all new! if that doesnt work out ill prolly just do cams for now as i just found out today im most likely moving into a new home and could prolly use some money toward that lol
