Default Exhaust Question

K so my girl's brother has the means to build me an exhaust system (minus mufflers and tips) out of 319 SS 16g for $120.....

the question is does anyone happen to have blueprints of the exhaust system for an 04 Stang GT?

I'm hoping someone has it or knows where to get it so i don't have to spend an entire day under the car measuring the whole thing lol... HELP!

Not to discourage from this, but after mufflers and tips it will probably run near the same as buying a good cat back.

But worst case scenario, if you have another car to drive for the time being you could remove your stock cat back and then have the dude take a look at it.

Dude, there is no reason to replace the exhaust unless you are going to bigger diameter piping and/or different mufflers for sound. And tips should always be upgraded, cus stock is tiny. And i'd rather buy aftermarket than have something custom fabbed for exhaust anyways, unless there isnt a way to get what you want unless its custom.

in reply to most of your responses... it's 2.5" pipe better stainless 319 grade, and mandrel bent the only thing i have to buy is the tips so $120 plus another $100 for tips that math seems less then a full system ordered... i already have flowmaster mufflers on my car so we are using those... i want the sound and a full manifold back X-pipe system not just cat back

isnt 304SS the grade you want for exhaust piping??? Never heard of 319. But i still wouldnt do it. Its too much work. And you arent going to have stainless mufflers like you would if you bought the flowmaster catback. I wouldnt do it man...youre gonna dig yourself into a hole.
