s197 better than new edge :(
Is the design of the s197 superior to the new edge in every way or just in the front since they have real MacPherson struts? Can a WL and TA new edge out handle and s197 WL and TA?

"Real MacPherson struts" are not an improvement, except that they reduce productions costs--at the expense of unsprung weight. In real terms it's probably a wash, but it's hardly an improvment...
However in overall terms of course they are an improvement, that's how the automotive industry works--the magnitude of the improvement is another whole discussion...
