i have a completely stock factory rear from the GT, under 35k miles on it, never abused (started abusing the car after the rear was swapped lol), all parts are there, axles/diff/gears, except the diff cover, cuz i reused mine rather than buying a new one, but is it worth selling this? like how much could i get for the factory rear? figured maybe this would be a nice upgrade for a v6 person since they only have the 7.5 rear?

Its heavy/expensive to ship but if a local person buys it it would be worth it. v6 guys would want to buy it. Post it in the v6 portion of the classified's and i bet someone would buy it. Good luck

Hmm, I've seen junk yard ones go for 150 bucks with higher mileage. So maybe 200? I'm not completely sure. There are just a lot of options for a 8.8 rear out there for a swap that's why.

...yeah, I have seen local rear end assemblies go for about 200 bucks as well locally.

The nice thing is, a lot of different cars and trucks use that same rear, so there is more potential for a quicker sale...kinda

was going to change the gears but decided to just go with a full 31 spline setup...did 31 spline axles, cobra posi w/carbon fiber clutches, and 3.73s...so i have the 28 splines, stock gears, and the stock diff...

id kinda like to get rid of all of it at once dimebag, lol..did u break ur axles?
