did tightening them fix the problem, and yes sometimes they just dont tighten them enough!

Its not a gear whine. Something i can say is to check that the diff was shimmed correctly. Might have some play in it side to side which might cause that clunk noise. Just something else i thought i would recommend. Vid would help.

I will see what I can do. I dont know if my video camera would pick up that noise but we will see.
