if the 20 - 30% discount is accurate for other carriers such as progressive, then id be able to afford it as itd be right around 200$ per month, which i could certainly handle...guess i need to just wait til i age to find out lol

nope im on my own plan haha- full coverage with geico. I have no tickets on my account and I have discounts for being a good student, and other stuff like that. Honestly, I'm not quite sure why its so low but I'm definitely not complaining.

I pay 330ish every 6 months...

I'm 25 though, and own a house....so when I bundle things together I get to save money.

I guess your best option is to find a time machine, turn yourself 25, get married, and buy a house.....

You might want to check and verify that you do have full coverage. I find it very hard to believe that any Insurance Co would think $576 a year is enough to cover a 20yr old college Student that owns a Mustang GT.
That is less than my Car which is older than yours. And I get Multi Car discount,Own Home Discount and Married with brats discount. No points on License either

SWITCH TO GEICO!!!

I was with progressive before I bought the mustang, when I called about adding the mustang to my policy and dropping my truck (2004 F250 4x4 4 door pickup R.I.P) They were going to raise my premium. I'm 38 years old and have some issues on my driving record but Progressive was charging me $3,200 a year.

I went online to GEICO's website and got an online quote...I couldn't believe what the quote was, so I called and spoke to a real person and they confirmed it was true. $100/month. Then the lady asked me if I wanted to purchase the policy, I said of course I do your saving me $2000...I'd be stupid not to.

I am 21 and pay $73/month. If I had the "good student" discount it would drop it about $20-25/month. I'm with State Farm and have quite a few discounts on my policy.
