I was quoted $500 from a local shop to provide the MM FLSFC's and install them. So that was more or less $170 for the connectors themselves and then $330 for install...thats way too much in my mind for an install of subframe connectors. My mechanic made me a set of custom full length subframe connectors with extra thick metal and installed them and painted them for a lot less than just the install cost the other shop wanted to charge me.

AM rocks...except when their network went down the night i went to order new headlights over the phone. Never did end up ordering them to this day cus i really dont "need" them.

thanks guys. ill prob start calling places tomorrow and monday to get quotes.

teej, does having the suspension loaded really make a difference? seems like it wouldnt, but i could also see how it could...

Hey man check out keiths mufflers and brakes... he is like the ultimate welder around here, i know he does tons of exhaust work (did all my cars) but i think he did the flsfc on my car too (previous owner got it done there). He has some pretty sweet prices as well. Located at like wayne rd and warren/ford if i remember correctly!?

he did a custom exhaust for my explorer, prob 5 years ago. i was planning on calling him! haha... must have a great reputation still

Ya haha he does. I was gonna have my exhaust put on at a different place because it was closer to home and they pretty much turned me down because they said he would do a better job hahah they werelike we could do it but id reccomend u take it to keiths... so i went there

got ya, thanks teej. i guess that would be worth mentioning, but i know keiths uses a drive on lift so that would keep the suspension loaded.
