Trying to get better 60ft times with 2v auto
 

I'm trying to get my 60ft down to some 1.6-1.7's.
The best 60ft I've gotten so far on nitto 555's 285/35/18's is 2.466 with my also best personal 1/4 mile time of 14.05 @ 101.88mph
The best mph I've gotten is 102.30 with a 14.19 1/4 mile with a 2.499 60ft
With the stall and gears all I do is roast the tires even from an slight idle roll, ease into it, and then floor it i still manage to break the tires loose.

The second will be some m/t slicks on some lite weight rims or may have to settle for some v6 rims. What else in order of importance should be on my list of suspension mods to get me the traction needed. I know ppl are going to rec. welded in FLSFC but are new struts/shocks a must? Which springs do ya'll rec. to help at the track that will also give my stang a lower stance?
My goals are to run low 13's in the 1/4 mile all motor and high 11's on a 125 shot. The only other upgrades I may add will be cams, line lock and also see if I can shed some weight off before I hit the track.

You will not hook without a decent set of drag radials, i tried all day and my bext 60' with stock gears and nitto 555xtremes was a 2.09 in my car, it was dare i say the perfect launch given my tires/stock suspension, took off slightly faster than i do at a stopsign and pedaled it perrrfectly, i don't think i could ever replicate that. There is no way you will hit your desired 60' on a street radial, drag radial ftw.

These are the arms that I have. They're definitely going to help, but your going to have to reinforce the torque boxes, the sphericals will destroy them. As for springs, I'd hate to break the news to you, but any spring that lowers the car isn't going to help launching, especially being an auto. If you have the money to throw at it, look at the coilover kits UPR sells. The sell a set for the rear with adjustable QA1s. Coilovers and adjustable shocks/struts are going to give you a versitile setup. And if you have the money as well, a tubular front end is going to take weight off the front of the car so you transfer weight better. But the control arms and a better tire are definitely a big step in the right direction.

you should be low 13s easily with a better set of tires. LCAs definitely will help with traction and wheel hop, but you need to run that rear sway bar. There are many LCAs out there with sway bar mounts.

First thing I would do is get the M/T slicks you were looking at. Then after that you can get the control arms.

FLSFC are good to have.

Shocks and struts are not a must as the stockers will work fine but obviously aftermarket ones are better.

I recommend keeping the stock springs in there for better launches and weight transfer.

With just M/T tires you will see 13s on the motor. With everything mentioned above and gears you could see high 11s on the bottle.

Im guessin this would be a better set up then for the rear sway bar bracket.

and then switch back to stock springs anything else?

I just glanced at those links. They look good but you are forgetting tires. That for you right now will make the most difference and give you traction.

You need a stall converter... This will be the best investment you can make.
