I would have just upgraded to this kit if I knew I would be out $300 trying to fix my stockers after the caliper went bad after a rotor/pad change. Then the overheating brake melted the bead on my tire so that then turned into 2 more tires totalling to a $700 dollar job. KB dyno money out the window.....oh well, will have to wait another month.

Right after we bough my wifes 03 the calipers started locking up off and on. It started to really tick me off so I decided to just upgrade for the same reason.

(Later, I found out that it's a common issue for the stock break lines to wear out and collapse causing it to lock up the brakes. But **** it she wanted bigger brakes anyway, lol.)

You will NOT need the threaded banjo bolts. I did do this upgrade (before this was a sticky), and also had that concern. Banjo bolts are only needed for the cobra kit.

Buyfordracing did us a favor - it's now cheaper than the kit that they offered.

Well then we should clearly make that distinction because my cobra calipers did need the coarse threaded banjo bolts.
